Art Appreciation Group (Art Soup!)

Art Soup! visits museums, galleries, art studios, and other art venues in the Seattle area. The day of the week we meet varies from Tuesday through Friday. We typically meet midmorning and return by 2:00 p.m. after a tour of a venue and an optional lunch.

On Thursday, May 17th, we plan to visit the Museum of Glass in Tacoma. Come join us to experience contemporary glass art in a beautiful museum on Tacoma's revitalized waterfront. Feel the heat as you watch a team of artists create masterpieces from molten glass in the world's largest hot shop. Guest artists will be Jerry Kung and Alexander Abajian, founders of FirePrint Studio in Oakland, CA. Join us to see some beautiful work, have lunch and if time permits, visit another gallery in Tacoma. We will return by 4 p.m.. Please rsvp to Nancy Abel.
